want to create, and develop the menu from there. Chef Manoj Rana and his team works closely
with each client to design dishes that reflect the occasion, the season, and the specific
preferences of the people at the table. Whether you’re looking for a traditional multi-course
format, a modern tasting progression, or a relaxed family-style spread, we build around your vision.

A: We cater weddings, private celebrations, corporate gatherings, rehearsal dinners, milestone
events, and community occasions of all sizes. Our primary service area includes the Hudson
Valley and surrounding regions, with frequent events across Manhattan, The Hamptons,
Westchester County, and Long Island. We work across private estates, vineyard properties,

A: Tamarind offers plated dinners, chef-attended live stations, buffet service, cocktail receptions,

Q: Do you cater events outside of Indian cuisine?
A: Our culinary foundation is modern Indian cooking — it is where our expertise runs deepest
and where Chef Rana’s training and creativity are most fully expressed. That said, our menus
are never rigid. Alongside our Indian offerings, Tamarind Catering regularly designs menus that
incorporate globally loved cuisines, including Mediterranean, Italian, contemporary American,
Middle Eastern, Asian-inspired, and fusion selections.
We work closely with seasonal Hudson Valley produce, and for events with mixed dietary
preferences or multicultural guest lists, we develop menus that feel cohesive and thoughtfully
curated rather than piecemeal.
